Who am i
Petra Dominová is a multidisciplinary artist from Czech Republic, living and working in Belfast in the north of Ireland. She has received her MFA in Fine Art from Ulster University in 2019. Shortlisted for the RDS award in 2020, followed by 3 solo exhibitions in 2021 & 2023. And is a member of Flax art studios in Belfast.
Themes of nature weave in and out of my work. Particularly forests, which are like a co-creator, even in works, that don’t immediately appear to capture nature, it is my time spent in forests, that guides me. I approach making art in a meditative and intuitive way, exploring ideas about consciousness, mysticism and ecology. Depicting a world, that is alive and interconnected.
